SUM. has worked with clients who have built their fashion brands in markets across the globe. We’ve collaborated with Allsaints, Victoria Beckham, Jimmy Choo, La Perla, and many others.

Before commencing the generation of a brand name, the design of a logo, or the creative direction for a campaign, we first work with our clients to prepare a strategy for their brands. In the highly-competitive fashion category it is essential to achieve a differentiated positioning and brand narrative, and the initial strategic phase helps our clients to achieve this. It also frames all of the creative output into a coordinated and inspiring way of thinking.

Once the strategy is in place we produce highly-aesthetic creative assets that provide each brand with high credibility within the world of fashion.


FASHION BRANDING CASE STUDY: VICTORIA BECKHAM

SUM. has worked with Victoria Beckham and her respected team since the brand inception to help create the brand identity, creative direction and marketing. The eponymous London-based brand set to rewrite the modern woman’s relationship with fashion.

Across numerous projects spanning Film, Digital, Print, Creative Direction, Packaging and Social Media, SUM. has helped to define the brand as a global fashion label. A systemised and pared-back design identity was created, followed by a series of simple yet engaging campaign activations.

SUM has worked with Victoria’s internal team to over-deliver on these objectives, which has served to refresh and differentiate the brand’s perception in the challenging fashion retail environment.


FASHION BRANDING CASE STUDY: ALLSAINTS

AllSaints revolutionised the modern high street with a range of sophisticated and effortless essentials inspired by a gritty urban aesthetic.

To capture this evolution, SUM. was appointed as their creative agency and tasked with creating an identity that empowered the brand with a character and personality. Our vision was conveyed through the mission statement, “To create a fashion brand that blends music and fashion into a potent formula of desirable clothing that expresses individuality and attitude”.

SUM. was responsible for all aspects of fashion marketing and brand-creation for AllSaints, from logo and graphical elements, to the end-to-end packaging and experience design, as well as digital and social media initiatives. 

The award-winning bespoke handwriting font, commissioned by SUM. has proven to be a defining visual element for AllSaints - both online and offline. The aesthetic resonates through design decisions, social media strategy, store design and e-commerce.
